How should I floss?
Floss daily using about 18 inches of floss. Wrap each end of the floss around your middle finger and leave about 1 inch of floss between your fingers. Stretch the floss tightly. Gently slide the floss between your teeth and, applying pressure to the tooth, curve it into a C shape against one tooth and move it up and down. Make sure to go under the gum line, and then do the same for the other tooth. Floss between every tooth, including the back teeth. Your gums may bleed for the first few days until the plaque is removed and the inflammation subsides.
